Marijn Cinjee (NL)

Marijn Cinjee (born 1995) is an electronic musician and an audiovisual artist. He develops
technologies in order to achieve new experiences and emotions. He is constantly researching
perception in order to create innovative ways to perceive sound. During his study at The University of the Arts Utrecht, he specialized in composition for interactive installations.

“There is an unknown internal world through which everything is experienced. I seek contact
with this world. “ The unknown gap between the physical world and the mind is where he seeks
emotional resonance between his work and the audience. His main strength is that he is both an
electronic music composer, as well as a spatial sound designer. Marijn Cinjee focuses on creating
organic sounds from electronic and mechanical source material. In this process, he seeks to
transport his audience.
