Lyke Poortvliet (NL)

As co-director at Green Events she is driving environmental and social change in the events industry with a team of experts. Lyke combines years of hands-on event experience with a broad knowledge of social and environmental challenges we are facing today. Besides leading the company together with her compagnon Laura van de Voort she’s the force behind the collaborations ADE Green, Future Festival Tools, Festival Sustainability lab and Onbeperkt Feest.

Within Green Events she is responsible for the topics Mobility, accessibility, diversity & inclusion, food & drinks. Before becoming co-owner at Green Events in 2019 she developed her strategic and hands-on sustainability expertise in events and worked with a wide range of events and organisations like Elrow, Welcome to the Future, Mysteryland, Defqon1, Nachtlab Agency, Strawberry Earth, Dutch Environmental Film Festival, Green Film Making Competition and 4&5 mei committee . Translating sustainable ambitions and goals into successful executed projects is her key strength.
