LONO BRAZIL aka LLØNO (NL)
Lono Brazil, known as LLØNO, is a multifaceted Artist, Producer, and Mature Male Model of Louisiana Creole descent, born in Chicago. A fixture of New York’s downtown art scene in the 1980s, he collaborated with Keith Haring on the artist’s final show at Tony Shafrazi Gallery. LLØNO was also closely connected to the rise of Chicago House music, moving within the same creative circles as Ron Hardy (associate) and Frankie Knuckles (friend).
In the 1990s, he served as a Record Executive at Capitol/EMI Records in Los Angeles, working directly with groundbreaking artists including the Beastie Boys and Kool Keith (Dr. Octagon). Over the past decade, LLØNO has become an internationally sought-after model, walking for Ralph Lauren, Comme des Garçons / Junya Watanabe, and Zegna, and appearing in campaigns for Zara,H&M and more. Now based in Rotterdam, he continues to merge music, art, and fashion, cementing his place as a cultural innovator and modern Renaissance man.
