Laura Bouwmeester (NL)

Laura Bouwmeester as a producer is an ambassador for telling strong stories with attention for cultural and sexual diversity and strong rolemodels. She likes to work with creators who are not afraid to change and challenge stereotypical roles. In 2022 she became co-producer of Dutch Mountain Film. Laura thinks it’s important that her productions are urgent, available, authentic and energetic and always searches for themes that are relevant to the current society. A good example of that is her work in 2017 as producer for the ANNE+ Foundation, that produced the serie ANNE+. She also produced webserie Selfmade Man and short movie Bes, that won an Go Short Audience Award.
