Kenny is an entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the Music and Creative industry. Kenny experience spans across all areas of the industry including artist management, PR , radio plugging, streaming and brand partnerships. Not only is she the co-founder of The Black Music summit but she is also the founder of creative agency Taboo based in London and Berlin. Taboo specialises in realising brand partnerships between artists and brands and as an agency has become a community known to actively support and celebrate subcultures and underrepresented communities particularly the black and LGBT communities, working with likes of Nike, Ambush, Tommy Jean, TikTok, Abbey Road Studios, Dion Lee, Carhartt and many others.

BMS is founded by WME agent Jordan Hallpike and the founder of creative agency Taboo, Kenny Eshinlokun. Their initiative represents their aspirations and the work that they both seek to create as co-founders. Bridging the gap by helping bring together some of the most notable figures from across the international music industry to invest in the development of Black talent and inspire the next generation of aspiring industry professionals.

When speaking about the importance of the summit Kenny explains that “Giving the next generation a chance to have more opportunities and a better experience in the music industry than many Black people have had to date. The BMS will offer Black musicians, creators and music industry professionals the opportunity to be seen and heard and hopefully reducing the amount of future discriminative challenges many Black people in the industry face”.
