Karriem Riggins is renowned as both a jazz drummer and hip-hop producer. He has played with artists such as Common, Slum Village, Talib Kweli, and The Roots, yet Riggins doesn’t categorize himself as anything but an artist. In 2012, he turned heads with Alone Together, his instrumental debut album featuring 34 tracks built around one central theme: rhythm.
