KATJA started DJing at the age of 18. Her passion for 80’s and early 90’s Hip-Hop through artists such as Grandmaster Flash, A Tribe Called Quest, Dr. Dre & Talib Kweli inspired her to deal with the art of turntablism.The Nuremberg based producer and DJ soon started to fall in love with the sound, energy and aesthetics of house and techno after discovering a friend’s vinyl collection full of 90’s Detroit House. She progressed to concentrate on creating a unique style of house music with a big passion for analogue synthesizers and without denying her Hip Hop roots.
