JOHN STEEL is an Amsterdam based Dj. For him, music has always played a significant role in his life. From early age, he fantasized of becoming a DJ. In 2006, he entered the electronic dance scene by organizing major house parties spread over the most renowned club venues in The Netherlands. Two years ago, in 2011, he decided to pursue his childhood dream and JOHN STEEL was born. Alongside with an array of successful club concepts on his resume, JOHN STEEL, knows better than anyone what the public needs to lift the roof. This newcomer has, already, played at several prominent clubs such as Sugar Factory; Barkode; Westeruni; Chicago Social Club; Woodstock; and Hall 16. Today, he is resident at one of the most upcoming electronic club concepts in Amsterdam, Verknipt. His music style represents a distinctive interpretation of Tech-House Techno with an innovative flair – his ultimate characteristics are dark, groovy and pumping beats with vocal touches as he plays his tunes into the last hours of the night. For JOHN STEEL, the club is the destination, the music is the journey and the crowd is the traveller.
