John Egwu James aka 'JBoy' or you can just call him 'John James' as he prefers, is a soulful artist whose unique style blends R&B, Neo-Soul, House, Funk Afro, Blues and Jazz, creating a sound unlike any other. John James has become the epitome of modern music, through the years growing up in the church singing gospel music, he has continued with this energy to exploring other genre of music. John is a Nigerian/Europe based recording artist, songwriter, singer and producer. He has collaborated with many European artists, producers and musicians like Polish Hip-hop giant Mezo, Tabb, Sick Live, Tim Haze, Loui & Scibi, Seb Skalski, Miqro, Jazzy Funk, Groove Cocktail, just to mention a few. John James major influences in music has always been 'John Pkee' gospel music producer and recording artist, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Bob Marley, Luther Vandross and the American super male group “Boyz II Men”. Later John James went on to open up to other modern recording artists like, Prince, Brian McKnight, India Arie, Musiq Soulchild, Glen Lewis, D'Angelo, Dwele, Jill Scott, Bilal and Robert Glasper. John James is also the lead vocal and front man of SICK LIVE, a polish base trio male group. Sick Live is an electrifying collaboration between three musicians from a range of musical backgrounds who have come together to produce a unique and very contemporary sound. Both live and in the studio, the quality and energy of their music leaves their growing number of followers wanting more and more. John James collaboration album with SICK LIVE was released in 2015 and is currently making waves in the Polish music industry. John James is not just an artist on stage but also an entertainment mogul. Just a while ago he co-founded one of Polish leading and competitive artist management company also based in Poland called “GET GOOD MUSIC”. In 2016 the company is lunching their NGO project that will focus solely on searching out new and young polish based artists through their online music competition. The project will not only promote young fascinating talents in and out of Poland but it would also encourage these artist to kick off their musical career by managing and representing them with recording contracts, booking managements, branding, endorsements and tour management.
