Born and raised in Suriname and now based in Amsterdam, DJ Hagelslag is quickly making a name for himself in the international electronic music scene. At just 19 years old, he brings a fresh, genre-blending sound rooted in Afrohouse, Afrotech, Indie Dance, Melodic Afrohouse, and Tech House—bridging rhythms from his heritage with the pulse of the global dancefloor.
As both a DJ and music producer, Hagelslag has already performed at some of the Netherlands’ most respected venues, including Colorado Charlie, Levenslang, Chin Chin Club, Supperclub, and Suppercruise, captivating crowds with dynamic, soulful sets that balance groove, energy, and emotion. His growing presence has also led him to stages abroad, with performances in Antwerp and Portugal, signaling his rising momentum beyond borders.
