Alexisphere (NL)

Dutch born and half Greek labelboss Alex Panagoulopoulos aka DJ Alexisphere has been around the scene since the early 90’s.

Alex has been known to be a perfect spotter for new talent and is famous for his track selection and storytelling mixes. He has been inspired by Underworld,The Prodigy and Faithless but also by the more classic acts like Jean Michel Jarre and Ruichi Sakamoto. Then, in Amsterdam, followed by the influence of the real start of house: Acid, Global Underground and the early underground Dj’s at the famous RoXy and IT in Amsterdam.

After a sporting carreer he picked up his love for music again in 2004 and saw the progressive house and techno music exploding in the underground scene. He now is owner of JustMusicEvents and hosted parties with Guy J, Pole Folder and Jody Wisternoff to name a few

His brother Stage van H and partner Tash (GR), were, in the meantime, successful with the label Movement Recordings and Alex decided to initiate his own label JustMovement early 2014. Also he was behind the turntables at many occasions in mainly Holland and Greece. Being part of the 2 day festival 41North in Thessaloniki has been an early highlight as he warmed up for DOUSK and Guy J and from there on things really started running.

The combination of running events and his label JustMovement being a specific platform for his stable and new upcoming producers suits him perfectly. Meanwhile his Livemix productions are known to be beautiful storytellers with deephouse, progressive, minimal and techno ingredients. Since 2018 he is therefore hosting the 2hrs Radioshow on Proton Radio with 75 episodes and counting.

Finally he has partnered up with Movement Bookings as agent in the Benelux and is managing several artists exclusively. Nowadays he is up to speed with his label JustMovement, releasing already 4 Albums and over 90 EP’s and is recently partner of Alex O’Rion’s Solis records.
