Vinyl only DJ Gysèle's style is not strictly divided into genres, everything that sounds good together is 'allowed' to mix together. So it may be that occasional hip-hop album, a 90's stunner or a disco classic. But the base is quite uptempo and mostly early 90's. Her biggest inspiration is The Prodigy. As a young child she 'sang' along the lyrics and danced on the heavy beats watching herself in the mirror. But the beauty of classical music, obscure minimal records or old pop songs are a big inspiration. She doesn't like just one genre, she takes the creation of cross-fertilization as a challenge. She was the first woman ever who won the Twstd DJ contest (2017) and since then she played at a lot of credible stages such as Thuishaven, Melkweg, Sugar factory and Radion. She is founder of Lang zal je Raven; a succesfull early 90's concept that host multiple raves per year.
