Gustavo Pereira (PT)

Gustavo, one of the most prolific promotores and DJs in Portugal, has left already an indelible mark on the country's music scene. In the late 90s, he immersed himself in associativism, academia, and municipal culture, gaining invaluable experience. He managed artists and collaborated with an old school Portuguese legendary DJ called Mario Roque.


In the early 2000s, Gustavo's programming and management skills shone through, particularly with the “Baile dos Vampiros” at Fantasporto Festival ( best cinema festival in Portugal ) and in 2005, he joined Ofir Prod, where he continued to showcase his booking and production work. The following year, he embarked on a remarkable journey with ANTIPOP, a venture that persists to this day with NEOPOP, an acclaimed event that has evolved over the years.

In 2008, Gustavo left Indústria Porto Club to establish GARE, a groundbreaking Meca for underground electronic music culture that combined programming and management expertise. The years 2010 and 2011 saw him involved with Optimus Hype Events in Porto and Lisbon, further solidifying his reputation as a dynamic force in the industry.

In 2011 marks the event "New Boundaries" as part of Guimarães' Capital of Culture program. Later he is also pushed the inaugural edition of “Matéria Festival” at BASE with an eclectic programming that showcase jazz to electronic music.

Currently his influence extends to prestigious international events such as Sónar, BPM, Brunch Electronik and Elrow, where he often Dj as well as programms into audiences worldwide. As one of the Directors of Made of You, he plays a pivotal role in the booking department for the country's largest events, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the industry.
