Gizem Öz (NL)

Gizem Öz is an Amsterdam-based composer, sound artist, and contemporary artist working at
the intersections of club and gallery, ritual and technology, emotion and abstraction. Rooted in
our sensuous existence, her practice conjures spellbinding experiences that challenge
perception and invite introspection. Through intricate soundscapes, immersive installations, live
performances, and DJ sets, Öz expands listening into a multisensory realm – ranging from
meditative calm to deep, hypnotic rhythms. She has presented her work at international festivals
and venues including Waking Life (PT), Amsterdam Dance Event (NL), Wildeburg Festival (NL),
Garage Noord (NL), and beyond.
