Gee Davy (GB)

Gee is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Legal & Business Affairs at AIM, leading all aspects of the organisation’s operations, with a particular focus on policy and business affairs. She joined AIM in 2017, and has since been instrumental in the development of AIM’s Digital Distribution Switch Code, as well as its support for the independent music community in response to Brexit and Covid-19. Her previous experience includes several years working with Cooking Vinyl, Essential Music & Marketing, FatCat Records and others. She sits on IMPALA’s Board, and Digital, Copyright and Metaverse Committees, the Rights & Legal Affairs and Policy Committees of UK Music, is an observer on the VPL board, sits on the Steering Group for Music Week’s Women in Music Awards, and recently joined the board of United Development. She is passionate about facilitating the independent music industry’s continued innovation and success and supporting its positive evolution in conjunction with technology.
