Gav Whitehouse (GB)

Hailing from Preston, Lancashire in the UK, Gav's music roots lie predominantly in the hard trance/hardstyle/techno scene. Previous years saw him promote various parties and eventually running his own night "Rotation" for four years in his hometown.

Wanting to expand with the UK brand he first founded, Gav moved down under to pursue his musical interests further. He organised a hard trance/hardstyle event in 2008, hosting a VS night with hardstyle brand "3D", but after hearing what hardstyle producers were currently producing, Gav started to stray away from the sound and eventually grew out of it, listening to different, more melodic sounds with more groove, feeling and soul.

Having educated himself in many different areas of house music and nailing down what he loves playing today.

He persevered with the idea of running his own night right here in Melbourne, DJ'ing at Revolver, New Guernica, Scarlet Lounge and many more Gav became a Resident at Eat The Beat where he started to play regularly at the infamous Saturday night as well as gaining gigs and visibility in Australia and Worldwide!
