Enric Palau (ES)

Co-director and co-founder of Advanced Music, the company thatorganises Sónar festival, and responsible for its Programming. As a musician and as a manager in the music industry for over twenty-five years, he’s been closely involved with technology and experimental music.

Together with his partners, Ricard Robles and Sergio Caballero, he created Sónar in 1994, a pioneering festival in format and content that today is a world reference event in the fields of music, creativity and technology.

Attracting more than 100,000 people to Barcelona every June, Sónar is considered a meeting point for global electronic culture, offering the latest developments in advanced music and its interactions with other musical genres and artistic disciplines. Since 2002, the festival has heldmore than fifty editions around the world, in cities such as London, Tokyo, Chicago, New York, SãoPaulo, Reykjavik, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Cape Town, Istanbul and Reykjavik, among many others
