DJ Thelena (UA)

TheLena is a young, progressive and ambitious artist who moved from Ukraine to UK three years ago to gain wider international experience and develop her natural talent in playing and producing music. DnB is not only a passion but also a way of life for TheLena. Her love for drum and bass guides her through life and her heart clearly beats at 174 bpm with tremendous energy flowing from TheLena's live sets.

TheLena successfully combines the lyrical sounds of good liquid motives with hard and heavy bass surprising and inspiring her listeners with ups, downs and unexpected drops. She has released her debut track “Like That” on Soulvent Records this year and her second track “My Mind” is due to be released on 12 September..

TheLena has worked closely with leading producers and djs in Ukraine, and she is the founding member of Sounds of Ukraine (@sounds_ukraine) which is a platform to support Ukrainian DnB community. Sounds of Ukraine promotes Ukrainian artists in the international arena, raises charity for Ukrainian causes and organizes events in Ukraine to support local community (with all proceeds going to charity). SOU had its first event in Lviv in June with support from BCee, B-Complex, Hugh Hardy, Lally, Joe Goss and second one is scheduled for 4 October with Pythius, T & Sugar, Degs, Lally, Beast Jane and Konquest.

TheLena is one of the founders of Valkyrie which is a female led collective and aggregator brand in neuro space.
