Dj Ron (NL)

Ron Soeters is born and raised near Breda in The Netherlands.
In the early eighties he started collecting vinyl records. He recorded tapes with his two turntables and a ghettoblaster. He practiced spinning in his attic room, which later also hosted dance parties.
From 1989 he discovered nightlife. He regularly visited iT, Paradiso and Awakenings (Amsterdam), Parkzicht, Now & Wow and Baja Beach Club (Rotterdam), and Red & Blue and Zillion (Antwerp). Parties like Milkshake, Mysteryland and Gaypride are still not skipped!

In 2005 the idea arose to start running Celebr80’s. With the support of clips a pop/disco/new wave dance evening was organized for 10 years. After the success of this evening, it became increasingly busy. Nowadays he regularly spins the wheels at Bar Blend, Blend XL, Montmartre, Amstel 54 & Club Mystique (Amsterdam), Lollipop (Tilburg) and Flamingoos (Breda). He was very honored to play Milkshake Festival Amsterdam 2019! This year you may have seen Ron on big stages like Pink Monday (Tilburg), Kittylicious Festival (Amsterdam), Reguliers Celebrates Eurovision & Pride (Amsterdam) and on a boot at Canal Parade - Pride Amsterdam. He is making more and more dance lovers happy with his music! For example also on radio stations like MasterMixers@Work (Ibiza), Radio Decibel (Amsterdam) and Radio Centraal (Den Haag).
His style stems from his love for iT Classics, The Sound Of Parkzicht & Channel X combined with the contemporary (Tech) House of Defected & Toolroom Records. Often with a hint to Gay Music. He wants to make every day a party!
