In October 2014, he released ‘WITH YOU’, an album and short film project written, directed and produced by Dirty South himself. The short film saw international success, reaching #1 on the iTunes ‘Short Films’ chart in 17 countries, while the album debuted at #2 on the iTunes ‘Dance’ chart. The project began as the writings of an alternatively-driven album, challenging any notion of conventionality. It serves as more than just a soundtrack to the film: it is the very backbone of all that is ‘With You’. With a sound uniquely his own, Dirty South’s reach continues to surpass the traditional boundaries of dance music in 2015. The celebrated artist’s song ‘The Unknown’ was featured in the official trailer for the Netflix Series “Marco Polo”, while ‘Tunnel Vision’ was selected for the official FIFA15 soundtrack. In addition to his continued work in the studio, Dirty South recently wrapped production for his second feature film project. Co-directed, produced and scored by him, Dirty South will soon introduce fans to his newest film, ‘Suburban Cowboy’. Dirty South has collaborated with world-renowned producers, including Axwell who he also shared the studio with in creating their Grammy nominated remix of Temper Trap’s ‘Sweet Disposition’. Dirty South’s productions have earned him several accolades including two Grammy nominations, two ARIA (Australia) nominations, a winning vote for ‘’Most Popular Producer Nationally’’ in the 2007 InTheMix 50 DJ Poll, and most recently an ‘’Essential New Tune’’ (Unbreakable, July 2014) award by the legendary Pete Tong. This summer Dirty South will continue to dominate the international dance music circuit with an endless roster of performances including headlining gigs at Coachella, ULTRA Music Festival and more. With a new film project in the works and a collection of music on the way, this year is moving fast for Dirty South, and there is no slowing down.
