He’ll go from Funky Future Beats to Dirty Disco and back via a Hiphop-classic or a smooth RnB-tune; De Manager won’t just mix it up and make you dance, he’ll also introduce you to the hottest tunes of tomorrow and remixes, edits and mashups of the biggest hits. He’s inspired by Dutch acts like Jarreau Vandal, Wantigga and Midas Hutch, but he throws these styles in his own blender. He shows this own style in his own productions like the Baile Funk edit of ‘Watskeburt’, his first own release called ‘Love Nobody Else’ and his wide catalogus of hiphop- and disco-mixtapes. He got his sense of rhythm by playing the drums for more then 10 years, but nowadays he knows his ways behind the CDJ’s even better, having played more than 350 shows. He delivered his vibes already at many festivals like We Are Electric, Solar, Paaspop, Encore, the Freeride Week in France and the Hungarian Sziget Festival. He played support-shows for acts like De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig, Zwangere Guy, Abstract and Mina and he is a known face in venues like 013, Effenaar and Ziggodome. Furthermore he is a resident at clubnights like Disco Snolly, Soepel, CLASS and the Tilburg based club Studio and he’s the man behind his own agency, called HENG.
