David Wille (GB)

David has worked in music for over 25 years at major and indie record companies and publishers including Virgin, London Records, Atlantic, Warners, A&M and Polydor. David also founded and ran his own music supervision company and has licensed music for some of the world’s best-known brands and artists.

He was SVP Sync & Brand Partnerships at Kobalt for 6 years before joining MAIA Universe as CEO in April 2024. MAIA Universe is a technology platform that delivers fast efficient and frictionless sync licensing. MAIA captures sync opportunities and revenue for real artists and songwriters. David has always been a strong advocate for music creators of all genres and sizes and has mentored some young and up and coming artists.
