Conor Thomas (GB)

Conor Thomas is a DJ residing in the ever-musical city of Manchester, where he runs the Faktion events and is also pushing forward the agenda of labels like The Death of Rave and Boomkat Editions. In the last three years, Thomas has become a kind of patron for new Mancunian artists, bringing to light the alternative and previously unknown sounds of Andy Stott, Demdike Stare and Powell. Last year he participated on Rob Booth's Electronic Explorations series, on which he shared new releases from The Death of Rave such as Black Mecha, Vereker and The Sprawl (the flamboyant project from Mumdance, Logos and Shapednoise), which is creating a new template today’s dance music scene
