Call Super (GB)

'I get excited by people who take a risk with their work and have some kind of vision. I love a lot of different stuff and like to sit between contrasting places and feelings. It’s the tension between these things that keeps things interesting' After a single release on UK label Five Easy Pieces, Call Super was chosen to launch fabric’s first in-house label for new music, Houndstooth. The music contained in ‘The Present Tense’ swayed from the muscular edges of techno, to a fractured palette of ambient electronica and rough house. It revealed a producer who had been quietly crafting his own approach for years, collecting records and bringing together a project rooted in visual influence as much as sonic possibilities.
