Appaa (NL)

Appaa, is a Dutch techno performer and lover of all things dark. His style is obscure, raw and indisputably industrial! He began channelling his talent on an old pair of mk3 CDJs in the early naughties and was thrust into the limelight in 2014, he became champion of ‘Underground Hidden Talent’ at club Poema in Utrecht. Since then he has performed in various Dutch clubs and recently also on Australia’s East Coast, where he performed in Melbourne’s legendary nightclub, Bunker. You can catch his podcasts on XT3 Radio, Strobe, Voodoo, Fackeltanz, Hoppa and Jazzpod. He also regularly broadcasts mixes with Almere FM and TRNSMT from the buzz of central Melbourne. Appaa has played with some huge acts such as Afdeling Techno, Voodoo and he continues to wow crowds in outstanding venues. A personal highlight was cruising along the channel of Utrecht bringing in the new year at Een Zware Dobber boat party.
