Andy le Candy (GB)

Andy Le Candy is a UK based DJ who had a varied journey to getting behind the decks. He started out listening to Hip Hop, swiftly moving on to hardcore, trance and drum & bass. He spent time MC’ing at various venues across the UK becoming involved in the many the legendary free parties that were held by DIY, Smokescreen and Shrewd Sound Systems during the late '90's. Following a break from involvement in music Andy's musical tastes changed, he fell for all things house with a focus on Jackin, later adding a love for Tech. He's hosted a weekly radio show, 'Jack Listed', (soon to return) showcasing his love for all sounds Jackin, along with playing guest sets on various radio shows aired in the UK, America and Australia. Andy is now regularly invited to play at events in the UK and Europe; recently adding the opening set for one of the main Amsterdam Pride street parties this summer to his achievements. After a successful 2018 playing at events for other brands, Andy decided that the time had come to host his own events again. He teamed up with G-Force and Groove Yard Nights was created. Other new ventures for 2019 came in the shape of co-hosting House AF events with Sista Stroke and G-Force as well as becoming a Freak Freely resident DJ. A very exciting future awaits Andy Le Candy, with a busy 2019 summer season ahead. He is returning to ADE for a second year, co-hosting and playing at more events, he will be armed with a playlist that slings pure fire to the dance floor!
