Aimée Theriot (MX)

Aimée Theriot is a Mexican-born musician, sound artist, writer, and organiser, currently based in Amsterdam. Rooted in listening, her practice treats sound as a vibrational and sculptural medium. She navigates the spaces between noise and structure, drone and detail – shifting fluidly through melody, texture, and fractured harmony. Working with live electronics, e-cello, voice, and field recordings, her music draws from free improvisation, ambient, ASMR, and experimental traditions. Her work has been presented internationally in festivals and galleries, and released on labels including Sofa Music, Editions Verde, True Blanking, Unheard Records, and Relative Pitch Records.
