The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) Foundation is the leading business platform for the electronic music industry and the world’s largest club festival for electronic music and dance culture. With over 300 venues, 3.200 performing acts, and approximately 600.000 visits from music lovers and professionals worldwide, Amsterdam becomes the global hub for electronic music for five days.

The Internship:

Are you passionate about giving electronic music and dance culture a special place within ADE by promoting art, culture, and heritage? Are you a student who can maintain clarity and organization during busy times? Then we are looking for you!
ADE's Festival department is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern.
In this role, you will ensure that all festival information is processed accurately and efficiently, serving as a liaison between ADE, event organizers, and the Amsterdam municipality.

ADE is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern for the Festival department.

You:

+ Have affinity with the electronic dance industry and associated genres;

+ Have affinity with creative and cultural life (in Amsterdam);

+ Know the trends and developments that are going on within the music industry;

+ Are able to be flexible and you are creative in finding solutions;

+ Are punctual and independent, and know how to keep an overview;;

+ Have a professional and proactive work attitude;

+ Are currently enrolled in a study program that allows this internship. A minimum of Higher Professional Education (HBO) level is a plus;

+ Have good understanding of Dutch and good communication skills in English, both in speech and writing;

+ Live in or close to Amsterdam, and are available to work from our office in the North of Amsterdam.

Please note: Availability from May/June to November 2026 is required, including during the summer vacation. Exact start and end dates to be determined in consultation.
