For ADE 2021 Pro Pass buyers
These are the additional Terms & Conditions for ADE 2021 Pro Pass buyers due to the cancellation of ADE Pro as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
General
This regulation is based on the global agreement between ACM, consumers' association and industry on refunds and vouchers for events that have been moved or cancelled due to the measures taken to combat the Coronavirus. This agreement can be read here: https://www.bewaarjeticket.nl/regeling/.
These terms and conditions relate exclusively to the sale of tickets which give access to the Amsterdam Dance Event of Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event to the holder of (a) ticket(s) (hereinafter referred to as the 'Customer'). Any ancillary products purchased, such as tokens and merchandise are not subject to these terms and conditions. For these ancillary products, the original terms and conditions of sale apply in full.
The choice made by the Customer is binding and applies to all tickets in the order. The choice of the Customer replaces or modifies the existing agreement between Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event and the Customer.
Article 1: If the Customer chooses a full donation
If an event has been moved or cancelled due to the measures taken to combat the Coronavirus, the Customer may choose to convert the ticket price paid for admission to an Amsterdam Dance Event event into a donation to Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event.
The existing agreement between Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event and the Customer regarding the original order will be dissolved by this choice. The Customer agrees that his/her original order will be cancelled and thus his/her right of admission to the event in question will lapse. Also, the Customer agrees that the refund amount to which the Customer is originally entitled due to the cancellation of his/her original order will be converted into a donation to Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation. As a result, there are no further (mutual) obligations between Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event and the Customer.
Article 2: If the Customer chooses a voucher
If an event is cancelled due to the measures taken to combat the Coronavirus, the Customer may opt for a voucher.
The existing agreement between Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event and the Customer regarding the original order will be changed by this choice. The Customer agrees that his/her original order will be cancelled and thus his/her right of admission to the relevant event will lapse. The Customer also agrees that by making this choice, his/her right to a refund of the original ticket price and service fee will be forfeited. The Customer agrees that he/she will receive a voucher.
The voucher will be sent via a voucher code to the email address used to make the original purchase.
The email with the voucher code will be send to the Customer from October 2021.
The value (credit) of the voucher includes the original ticket price, including any booking or service fees.
The value of the voucher can be used for a minimum of twelve (12) months after issuance to purchase a ticket for the same product, the ADE Pro Pass, from Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event for the Amsterdam Dance Event 2022 event. The validity period is mentioned on the voucher.
If the voucher value is not sufficient for the new order, the difference will have to be paid by the Customer. If the voucher value is greater than the new order, the remainder will be paid as a new voucher to this Customer.
If a partial donation is chosen, the voucher value will be reduced by the amount resulting from the donated percentage of the original voucher value as indicated by the Customer. For example, a 50% donation on the original voucher value of EUR 100 will result in a credit of EUR 50 on the voucher.
Article 3: If the Customer opts for a refund
If an event is moved or cancelled due to the measures taken to combat the Coronavirus, and the Customer notifies Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event within four (4) weeks after the announcement of the move or cancellation of the event concerned that he/she cannot use a voucher, the Customer may opt for a refund.
The existing agreement between Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event and the Customer regarding the original order, is thereby dissolved. The Customer agrees that his/her original order will be cancelled and that his/her right of admission to the relevant Event will lapse. In return, the Customer is entitled to the refund of the original ticket price and service charge in cash by Stichting Amsterdam Dance Event.
The refund of the original ticket price and service charge will take place through the same payment method with which the original purchase was made.
If the event is rescheduled, the refund will take place no later than one (1) month after the new date of the rescheduled event.
If the event is cancelled, the refund will take place no later than three (3) months after the date of the cancelled event.
If a partial donation is chosen, the refund amount will be reduced by the amount resulting from the donated percentage of the original refund amount as indicated by the Customer. For example: if a 50% donation is made on the original refund amount of 100 EUR, 50 EUR will be refunded to the Client.
