Vinyl is back…as it should! In a digital world, it’s sometimes great to reminisce back to the early analog days.

At Zwarte Liefde, we celebrate our love for vinyl and black music. All DJ’s will play 100% vinyl and that means authenticity and that characteristic warm sound. We go from scratches to smooth blends with a mixture of hip-hop, r&b, dancehall, soul, funk, disco and even some UKG, D&B and house classics..

Zwarte Liefde was born and raised in Amsterdam in 2016. Founding father Welly Ibrahim aka Welly Well, gathered old friends and met new friends (e.g. DNS, Chuckie) along the way. Evolved from an idea to an event and even a collective, they now spin records to spread the love. Being crafty has its charm, but also comes at a price. For old times’ sake, these guys handpick their best selection and fill up their terribly heavy crates to rock any stage.

Gradually, Zwarte Liefde created a fan base with vinyl and black music lovers and hosted events at venues like Paradiso, Amsterdam Roest, Bret, Rapa Nui, Pacific Amsterdam, De Dakkas and the legendary A’DAM tower. Booking requests started coming in for one-off vinyl DJ sets, which raised the need for Zwarte Liefde to hit the road as a collective. In the summer of 2019 they kicked it off at Waterkant Amsterdam and already rocked plenty of festivals like Mysteryland, Zwarte Cross, Appelpop, Amsterdam Dance Event and Haarlem Vinyl Festival. The agenda is promising, but the crew always has an appetite for more.

Set to spread love and happiness, this collective of vinyl lovers is ready to conquer the rest of Holland and beyond.

Festival FAQ

ADE Festival tickets will be sold via the festival event organizers individually. Therefore, we advise you to keep an eye on their own website/socials.

Not to worry! Make sure to contact the event (or their ticketing provider) you are visiting as soon as possible with as many details about your order; name, email address, amount of tickets, etc. Once they've recovered your order, the tickets can be resent to your email.

Most festival events have an age limit of 18+ (and sometimes even 21+ or 23+). These are Dutch governmental rules which state that below the age of 18 you are not allowed to enter a club.

Please double-check the promoter's or venue's website to be sure you can access the event!

Yes, the ADE Pro Pass grants you access to all ADE official festival events.

Be aware though that there are over 1,200 events during ADE that you can enter with the Pro Pass wristband and that ADE cannot guarantee access. There is a limited capacity that each venue can take into account for Pro Pass holders. This means for some of the more crowded events you have to arrive early. Once capacity is reached, we will go over in a full-for-now policy. The festival event organizer will decide when and if more people are allowed to go in.

The ADE Pro Pass is the perfect fit if you are planning on enjoying the combination of day and night events. If you want guaranteed access to a particular festival event, we advise you to get a single festival ticket instead.

We dance together, so please be mindful of yourself and each other. We expect an open attitude from our visitors towards other guests, regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion and age. If you see or experience any unwanted attention, harassment or behavior of any kind that makes you uncomfortable, please speak out and notify staff.
