Six years after the first Eco-Rider sparked a shift in the live music industry, Bye Bye Plastic Foundation returns with its next evolution: Eco-Rider 2.0. This updated framework aims to bring sustainable contracting at large into the mainstream, empowering the entire touring ecosystem—from agencies, managers, and tour managers to artists and their support teams—to serve People, Party, and Planet together.
In this session, Bye Bye Plastic Foundation and Gigwell will present the Eco-Rider 2.0: a toolkit enriched with expanded resources, community connections, integration features, and environmental checklists that encompass all potential. The conversation will explore how this new version can embed sustainability as a standard practice in touring—making it easier to set, track, and report meaningful requirements across the industry.
