Shift the Culture Through Culture
Moderators: Cata Pirata (Artist | Ambassador, City Collective Amsterdam), Kimberly Willems, Lisca Katz (Creative Force & Cultural Visionary)
City Collective Amsterdam will be hosting an intimate session on safety in nightlife and the dance industry in general. CCA is a union for creative workers originated in Amsterdam and with the goal to inspire other cities globally. The session kicks off a year-long program curated by CCA. Topics include: Safety at night, Power structures & creative work, and Online dynamics shaping offline behaviour. Join this roundtable to talk about innovative solutions on nighttime safety; as well as brainstorm with like-minded individuals to improve safety for women and vulnerable groups inside nightclubs and at festivals - but also in the public space at night.
About CCA (The union for Creative Entrepreneurs in Amsterdam): Creative makers need freedom to create. The city needs creativity to define its identity and attract talent. City Collective Amsterdam (CCA) brings these needs together, ensuring makers can thrive, and Amsterdam remains a city of making. Creativity brings renewal and connection to our city. It offers innovative solutions and strengthens communities. CCA exists to amplify this creative power and unite the voices of creative makers and entrepreneurs across Amsterdam. By building meaningful connections and influencing policy, we ensure that creativity remains visible, impactful, and essential to Amsterdam’s future. Together, we’re shaping a city where creative talent flourishes and innovation drives lasting change.
