Joan Biekman works for the urban program of National Art Fund FPK and is founder of Urban Chicks With Brains, co-founder of The Black Hague Experience and won the 2024 Kartiniprize for her work contributing towards a better position for black women and women of color in her city. And creative strategist and entrepeneur Lara Jade develops projects with her vision of truly inclusive culture as an important pillar, and founded Pretty Girls Like Trap Music: the first Dutch women+ only hip-hop party created from an urge for a safer space for women+.
