Hip Hop 50: There’s some womxn in da house!
During this lecture on Hip Hop feminism, Hip Hop scholar Kim Dankoor will shed a light on women’s contributions to Hip Hop culture. She will also explain why she feels this is the most inclusive form of feminism to date and why every Hip Hop enthusiast - women, men and everybody in between - should be a Hip Hop feminist. From U.N.I.T.Y and Say Her Name to Queen B*tch and WAP: be prepared to ‘move and shake a little’ during this lecture as she will not only use feminist insights to make her case but also some of the most iconic songs and videos in Hip Hop HERstory.

ADE Lab returns with a four-day programme from ADE Wednesday to Saturday at the Brakke grond and many more venues around the Amsterdam Nes area.
