SkateCafe will move you

SkateCafe hosted The New Originals and Homecoming for a full three-room takeover, a night where hi-tempo Amapiano and African-inspired house collided with the raw personality of one of Amsterdam’s most unique and beloved venues. The walls vibrated with percussion, the floor shook under the weight of dancers, and SkateCafe’s familiar grunge transformed into a playground for pure musical exploration. It was the perfect industrial setting for bodies moving without restraint and for sound that refused to stay in one place, moving the world into the confines of the club.

With untold treasures between its walls

A dark corridor covered in graffiti, surrounded by enthused dancers

A large room flashing red, orange, yellow, pink, with barely enough room to move beside all the heaving bodies

A chill out space is never far away

As are artefacts like a ferris wheel, a photo booth, an old rusted brommobielen

A main room with a half pipe

Speakers and pot plants hanging from the roof and covering the walls

SkateCafe, one of Amsterdam's most famous clubs, is full of surprises
