shesaid.so brings music industry mentoring programme for all genders to its own ADE space

Monday, 04 September 2023
The shesaid.so community of women, gender nonconforming people, and allies in the music industry returns to ADE Pro with its own space at Lynk & Co on ADE Thursday. The global movement organises plentiful activities during ADE Pro, such as a mentoring programme for mentors and mentees of all genders. Confirmed names include DJ and broadcaster Tiffany Calver, The Media Nanny originator Jose Woldring, producer and DJ Cristina Lazic, and many more. Besides its mentoring programme, shesaid.so also invites ADE Pro visitors to talks, keynotes, and workshops.

shesaid.so's space at ADE brings together the global communities of both parties and creates an environment where people can connect, learn from each other, and experience the latest trends in music. Since 2017, shesaid.so has worked with ADE to focus on programming around diversity and inclusion in the music industry. The mentoring programme started in 2019 with ten mentors and mentees and has slowly but steadily grown to a large-scale project where well-known professionals help starters in the music industry.

Other mentors of this year's we.grow programme include Ballantine's Global Senior Brand Manager Lucy Andrews, Ghostly International / Spectral Sound's Label Manager of UK & Europe Yasmin Leung and Meta's Music Artist Partnerships executive Liz Miller, with many more names to be confirmed. These confirmations allow ADE attendees to engage with ideas and people guided by values rooted in innovation, equity, and intersectionality.

Key topics from inside the community

Besides the mentor programme, shesaid.so hosts talks and workshops in their own space, where topics like mental health and the pressure of the music industry, parenthood, and the influence of social media are at the core. Ready to join in on this global movement? RSVP now to secure your spot at the shesaid.so space at Lynk & Co during ADE Pro.
