'Hardwell: The Return' at ADE Pro touches on unvoiced topics in the dance scene
Imagine going on 200+ flights a year, sleeping in different time zones every day, and being exhausted from touring, repeating itself in an endless cycle for years and years. That's the unheard-of side of EDM, as Hardwell puts it. The 34-year-old DJ has taken a much-needed sabbatical in which he had time to reflect on his well-being and his outlook on the dance scene.
REBELS NEVER DIE
Besides his personal growth, Hardwell has gone through another significant change. His well-known Big Room House formula has served him and his fans well, but he felt disassociated from his own sound after so long of continuous DJing with it. His new perspective led him to his recently launched and highly anticipated 14-track album 'REBELS NEVER DIE', which premiered in September 2022.
Before he embarks upon his world tour that ends in Frankfurt next May, Hardwell is visiting the ADE Pro Conference on ADE Thursday for a welcome catch-up. The Dutch DJ will be talking about his new work, how he still managed to keep his fans aboard after his big switch-up, and future production plans, because he is not just back; he is here to stay.
