ADE Pro reveals first key focus for 30 YEARS ADE: music scenes across Brazil, the MENA region, and Sub-Saharan Africa

More momentum
Electronic music has always moved through local communities. Across our Focus Regions for 30 YEARS ADE, those movements are gaining significant momentum. Collectives are forming, artists are shaping new sounds, and local ecosystems are growing on their own terms while increasingly resonating on a global level. Building on previous editions, ADE Pro continues to create space within its Conference program to explore these developments and strengthen connections between scenes.
From Arabic influenced electronic sounds emerging across the MENA region, to the global reach of funk rhythms from Brazil, and the rise of movements such as Qom and 3 step alongside established genres like Amapiano and Afro house in Sub-Saharan Africa, these scenes reflect a wider shift in how electronic music is created and shared.

Considering recent geopolitical developments in the Middle East, ADE recognizes the importance of continuing to highlight and support the creative voices and cultural communities emerging from the region. Throughout its history, electronic music has provided a platform for communities whose stories and perspectives are not always widely heard. By creating space for dialogue, exchange and visibility, ADE supports ongoing conversations around how electronic music scenes continue to evolve within a changing cultural and societal landscape.
Through its Conference program, ADE Pro 2026 focuses on cultural stories from these regions, while also exploring how international professionals connect, collaborate, and do business. The program brings together artists, entrepreneurs and industry voices connected to Brazil, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Sub-Saharan Africa, across panels, talks, networking formats and community-focused sessions.
As ADE marks 30 years, this first focus looks ahead as much as it reflects the present, shaped by scenes that continue to grow and influence across borders.
