ADE Green 2025: The First 5 Programs That Set the Stage

Thursday, 31 July 2025
As ADE Green gears up for its eleventh edition, we're thrilled to present a sneak peek into its conference program, set to unfold on Friday, October 24th. These first five sessions reflect what ADE Green stands for: exploring the urgent questions shaping our industry and inviting you to be part of the conversation.

Following up on recent news about the first wave of artists for ADE 2025, we continue with ADE Green: the conference on sustainability and social change in the music industry. With ADE Green tickets now available, here are the first highlights of this year’s ADE Green program – marking the starting point of a conference program built around exchange, reflection and practical guidelines for action.

ADE Green 2025

First look at this year's ADE Green program

What’s Next for Circular Festivals?

Since 2019, over 50 European festivals have worked side by side in the Green Deal Circular Festivals. Together, they’ve experimented, tested, and shared what works. Now, five years on, it’s time to ask: what has been achieved? What remains to be done? And where are the real barriers that keep us from going further? With insights from industry pioneers, this session looks both back and forward—taking stock of lessons learned while opening the door to what comes next.

State of Sustainability: Accelerating Change Together

No single festival or organisation can transform the sector alone. This interactive session invites both experts and the audience to an honest dialogue on what is needed for faster, collective progress. Guided by Claire O’Neill (AGF) and featuring voices from Roskilde and ESNS, this program offers an opportunity to co-create sustainability strategies with your peers.

Honest Climate Conversations

What happens when we strip away the structure of a typical panel and simply listen—to music, to feelings, to each other? In collaboration with Mindworks Lab, this intimate session invites two artists to share tracks that move them and unpack the emotions behind them. Through these musical touchpoints, the conversation explores climate, storytelling, and the emotional significance of music in the climate crisis.

AI for Impact: Smarter Sustainability Reporting

Understanding your impact is the first step to reducing it—but measuring it can feel daunting and complex. This workshop makes it accessible: together, we will explore how accessible AI tools can help demystify sustainability reporting and empower you to analyse your own data, quickly and effectively. Practical, hands-on guidance to help you get started and feel confident about tracking your event’s footprint.

Meet the Experts: Sustainability & Social Change Speeddates

14 experts. 5 rounds. 1 hour to have the conversations you won’t find anywhere else. This speed-dating format is your chance to connect directly with the thinkers and doers reshaping our field. Limited seats, maximum access: come early, ask bold questions, leave with ideas and contacts that can help you take the first or next impactful step.
