Live Music

Nothing Here Now – Music for Nobody: Moin, Susu Laroche & MOBBS, Fuuturejazz, Zohar, Bahati @ BIMHUIS

BIMHUIS and club phenomenon Zohar join forces for Nothing Here Now – Music for Nobody on ADE Thursday: a night of exploring the outer edges of sound. The lineup features Moin’s reimagined guitar-driven noise, the ritual intensity of Susu Laroche + MOBBS, and the forward-leaning visions of Fuuturejazz.

Zohar adds a live film score, while collage artist Bahati (Hothead) connects the night with DJ sets blending footwork, jazz, and sounds from the African diaspora. BIMHUIS rounds out its ADE program with DATSKAT: Karriem Riggins + J.Rocc on ADE Wednesday, Arp Frique & The Perpetual Singers on Friday, and Minute Made Music on Saturday; each merging live performance and electronic experimentation in its own way.

Lo-Fi Playground x ADE @ DB55

Lo-Fi playground, an event series that brings together adventurous artists across different spectrums, returns to its home in Amsterdam, bringing together Ping-En Hung and Bernard Hollinger for their ADE edition. Ping-En’s work on the bass guitar traverses reality, and her new album will be debuted at ADE alongside Bernard Hollinger’s audiovisual journey through ambient atmospheres and improvisational electronics.

Rooted in Culture X Descendants @ Tolhuistuin

'The Stories of Afrohouse and How It Moves Us' is an immersive dance workshop and discussion that brings the essence of movement and expression back to the nightclub. Participants explore styles from Kuduro to Housedance and dive into how rhythm tells stories, builds community, and channels the spiritual power of Afrohouse.

Rooted in Culture @ International Theater Amsterdam

The 4th edition of Rooted in Culture blends movement, music, and conversation, exploring female representation in Dutch club culture. The evening features a house dance workshop with Zev, insights from Lynnée Denise, and a B2B session on the dance floor with Chill on Tuesday and Leroy Rey, combining stories, sounds, and rhythm for an inspiring experience.

Foam x Echobox Radio & Chinnamasta @ Ferry 50

For a truly unique experience, Foam and Echobox Radio present Chinnamasta live aboard the Amsterdam Ferry, merging sound, image, and movement against Fidelio Faustino’s 'Tapsei' exhibition. The performance celebrates Afro-Caribbean and global influences, exploring nostalgia, belonging, and the post-colonial Afro-diasporic experience through a dynamic dialogue of music and visual art.

A/V Immersive Performances

Visual Frequencies at Nxt @ NXT Museum

From ADE Wednesday to Friday, immersive visuals will collide with next-generation soundscapes within the confines of NXT Museum, from a range of artists spanning emerging voices to legendary innovators. 'Visual Frequencies' captures ADE’s ethos of exploration, pushing electronic music into new dimensions by entwining sound and image into one sensorial journey. With sound baths, digital frontiers, and unexpected turns, this series promises to astonish and immerse at every moment.

Dome Concerts presents: Julius Horsthuis and Special Guest @ Artis Planetarium

We are thrilled to reveal the special guest stepping into the dome for the closing concert of the series will be world-renowned harpist - Remy van Kesteren, who’s groundbreaking approach to the harp is a perfect match for the unique setting of the fractal dome. See a true master combine with outerworld visuals for an unforgettable closing experience.

The full program of Dome Concerts at Artis' Planetarium can be found here.

Show Me the Light: The VR Silent Disco @ The Cue Club – ADE Lab Village

The next generation of silent discos (or potentially raving?) is on display @ the Cue Club, taking up to 12 users at once on a shared, interactive journey, with sound and movement shaping the world in front of you. This immersive world will bring the users to question their own reality, as the simulation will hold a mirror to our own fast moving lives outside of the headset.

Atmo_Sfera @ ISOamsterdam

ATMOS_FERA is a live audiovisual performance by Agustín Martínez Caram, Developed as part of his artistic research, the work draws on NASA’s planetary atmosphere simulations to transform real scientific data into immersive fields of light, fog, and spatial sound. Alongside KIKUNO’s handcrafted sound system, ISO’s main hall becomes a shifting landscape where the audience can move, linger, and recalibrate their senses. ATMOS_FERA invites you to experience planetary atmospheres not as distant science, but as an embodied, cinematic journey at the edge of perception.
