COVID-19

ADE Conference will take place in an online-first format, combining an extended digital program with limited physical networking elements:  As travel to Amsterdam is limited for most of the broader international B2B audience, our 2020 conference program will take place as an online-focused format. As always, we will combine panels, masterclasses and interactive Q&As with an extensive networking platform that enables ADE delegates to connect and meet up, both virtually as well as in real life. For more info on ADE Pro have a look at our rough guide.

For the festival audience, ADE will present a virtual celebration of dance culture for a global audience, including a select number of COVID-Proof seated concerts and cross-cultural projects under the ADE Specials banner:
The ADE team has worked hard to be able to deliver the best possible ADE experience while ensuring public health and government guidelines. In doing so, we have collaborated closely with the city council and the city's venues to host a balanced series ADE Specials throughout Amsterdam. In addition to the select venues hosting multidisciplinary concerts and projects in Amsterdam, ADE is set to present a virtual celebration of dance culture for a global audience of music enthusiasts, featuring a variety of digital content including DJ sets, artist talks, studio tours, masterclasses, artistic cross-overs, a film program and much more on a brand new, freely accessible online platform. More info is set to follow soon.

General

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most upfront, influential and educational gathering for electronic music and its industry. With its conference, festival and educational breeding ground, ADE is able to create not only the biggest yearly industry tent-pole moment, but also a solid foundation for future generations of electronic music professionals. ADE 2019 attracted a total of more than 1,000 events in nearly 200 locations across its multidisciplinary program; for five days and nights, the city of Amsterdam truly breathed electronic music.

ADE Pro is the ultimate business and inspiration platform for the global electronic music industry, featuring dedicated programming for music professionals, talented creators and the industry leaders of tomorrow. This year's edition will take place in an online-first format, making it the most global and accessible edition of ADE Pro to date.

Have a look at the rough guide to ADE Pro 2020 for more information.

The Amsterdam Dance Event is taking place from 21 to 25 October.

The conference and festival program will be published on our website in the upcoming weeks.

You can suggest topics and speakers for potential inclusion in ADE's multiple conference tracks; feel free to send us your ideas for the issues we ought to be covering! Submit here.

The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation is the umbrella over the entire festival program however the line-up and production is arranged by the official ADE venue itself. We therefore recommend you to contact them directly to check if they have interest and availability.

Usually we have an showcase application form online in order to facilitate the process of connecting supply and demand. Artists who fill in this form will be added to a database which bookers and event promoters use to book artists for ADE. Since the showcase application is primarily focused on offline performances we’ve decided not to post this (yet) in light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

If you are interested in partnering up with ADE, feel free to send a proposal to our team at partnerships@amsterdam-dance-event.nl
