Cycling to ADE

The annual ADE CYCLE will take place this year between London and Amsterdam. The route will consist of 4 stages of 120km and will take the riders through the UK, France, Belgium and the south part of the Netherlands. The route will end at the ADE Hub with a special welcome lunch for all finishers and drinks!

Depart London Sunday 16th October @ 8 am
Arrive Amsterdam Wednesday 19th October @ 3 pm

Stage 2 Dover - Brugge
Stage 3 Brugge - Bergen op Zoom
Stage 4 Bergen op Zoom - Amsterdam

From the bridges of London to the heart of ADE, cyclists will ride to Amsterdam in a four-day cycle with the goal to raise funds for the Bridges for Music program that provides quality education to young talent in underserved communities in South Africa. However, with the war taking place in Ukraine, this year’s ride partnered with the organization Choose Love to help supply humanitarian aid for refugees.

With previous years welcoming the likes of James Haskell, Arielle Free, Richie Hawtin and Joris Voorn, this year’s team so far has confirmed musicians Bec, Juliet Fox, Dope Saint Jude and teams sponsored by SONOS, Resident Advisor, Defected Records as well as riders from Parlophone/FFRR, Toolroom records, Elrow and more

After the 500km ride, cyclists will reach the finish line at the heart of the ADE conference on Wednesday, October 19, where all riders and other industry professionals will be welcomed by familiar faces for some welcome drinks and a special event hosted by Bridges for Music.

Anyone interested can sign up for next year's ride and help make a difference. Expect daily accommodation, an official cycling kit, breakfast and energy-boosting snacks, luggage transport, support vehicles and a very warm welcome at Amsterdam Dance Event.
