Intern Customer Relations & Ticketing

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most important conference for electronic dance music, as well as the world's biggest club festival. The event takes place in October and attracts more than 400.000 visitors from all over the world. Besides being the number one event for the electronic dance music industry, ADE also constitutes a solid breeding ground for the industry's future generation(s). With more than 1000 events in five days, hosted in some +200 locations, Amsterdam is turned into the global center of electronic music every year.
The internship:
Are you a student with an affinity for communication and customer relations? Can you empathize well with different types of visitors and do you want to help following up on their questions and wishes? Do you have a keen interest in music events and would you like to contribute to the ADE team? Then we are looking for you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a warm and professional reception to visitors, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and a customer-focused approach.
• Proactively identify and act on potential opportunities to enhance the visitor experience and support commercial initiatives.
• Manage multiple tasks, communication channels, and systems seamlessly, even during busy periods.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both domestically and internationally
• Approach work in a systematic, detail-oriented, and results-driven manner.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an education at HBO level or higher.
• Strong knowledge of and affinity for the electronic dance music industry.
• Proficiency in office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Solid understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English.
• A flexible and creative problem-solver with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
