Stuart Acker Holt is a filmmaker with a specialism in music documentary. After completing his Masters in Music from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, Stuart went on to lecture in Film Music at Chichester University.
While completing his studies he launched the ‘Expressing Computers’ lecture series with film-makers and composers presenting live audio-visual work, and since 2004 Holt has dedicated himself to bringing the ideas of artists to life on screen.
He regularly creates film content for companies including Ableton, ID&T and Abbey Road and advises businesses on video content strategies.
His latest film is produced in conjunction The European Space Agency exploring NASA’s Golden Record project, due to screen late 2019. This explores how technology and music influences the way in which humanity has defined itself.
