Santonio Echols is one of the originators, of techno producers out of Detroit. He fell in love with music and the craft of being a Dj at a young age.
After meeting K.Saunderson at Eastern Michigan University. They later began working together and Forming the famed group Reese & Santonio, With K. Saunderson and There multiple 12-inch release’s on KMS label. Producing classics such as:” How to Play our music,” "Sound", "Force field", "Bounce your body" etc… Having released on labels as Defected and London Records. Santonio's production continues with Paragon Records. Producing "Its not over" vocals by Mia Hesterly on the compilation "No way out" with added production and Remixing on various artists the House Keepers along side of James Pennington aka Suburban Knight.... "How you play the game" and "Take me away" by Bridgette Grace on Polydor Records.
Santonio has done remixes for Nicholas Moire Patterns, "She already knows" on Strictly Groove, Oliver Lieb "Reach the Sunrise", "Music 89" for Moire Patterns Clap Records, Clemens Neufeld, Santonio's releases on vinyl are "Get up (clap yo hands) featuring Gospel singer QuWonna Toney on D Records (Germany), on the Detroit Dancer label (Spain) "Bella" 12 inch on vinyl with remixes by Orlando Voorn, "Escape from Alcaltraz" on Opilec Music compilation (Italy). Santonio continues stay busy by working multiple releases on the N.C.M label in memory of his mother along with his legacy Santonio Echols jr and Manuel Echols in honor of there beloved mother/grandmother. Under the Echols Brothers with releases of “Bad for me” “Inside my love” and “Work” Working with legends such as Norm Talley and his label Upstairs Asylum label and Chicago producers Paul Johnson RIP, Ron Carroll, Stacy Kidd, Rick Lenoir, Santonio Echols will continue to release vinyl/digital to date you can buy his music and all major Digital download stores.
