Before founding Harvest, Ric previously held senior roles at various major and independent record labels including most recently, Vice President of A&R at Warner Music International. In that role he was responsible for managing the cross-territory A+R strategy of the company outside the US, selecting promising artists from Warner's worldwide local rosters and overseeing the acquisition and launch of acts globally.
Ric began his public achievements in the world of music when he was just 18 by winning the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Musician of the Year 1994. It was at University, while studying for a degree in Music, that Ric began producing and releasing singles with independent labels in London and in 1997 he was taken on as both Label Manager and A&R Manager at Serious Records. Two years later Ric became A&R Manager at Sony Music. In 2000 he took up the position of A&R Manager at Ministry of Sound where he stayed until taking the role at WMI in 2004.
Ric is also the co-creator and executive producer of ‘Love’s Divine’ - a new major US networked TV format hosted by Seal and Heidi Klum - and sits on the BPI International Committee and the Soho Theatre Development Committee
