Phil Sales (GB)

Speaker
London based artist manager Phil started life in the music industry as a promoter at legendary London nightclub, Ministry of Sound back in 2001. Starting as a junior promotions assistant he soon worked his way up to take control of the club’s flagship Saturday nights as well as running Ministry’s Ibiza residency every Friday at Pacha and eventually took control of all of the club’s bookings and promotions whilst also working on opening new MoS venues in Asia. In 2007 he reduced his role at MoS to launch his own artist management company ‘Sylo Management’ managing the likes of Toolroom records’ Mark Knight and Audio Bullys. Phil left MoS to focus full time on management 3 years later when he joined forces with Three Six Zero Group to form a new joint venture, adding his artists to a roster that included Calvin Harris and deadmau5 amongst others. Phil sold his share of the joint venture to Three Six Zero in 2013 to become Three Six Zero’s vice president of artist management and went on to run the ever expanding company’s UK operation whilst continuing to manage clients including Sasha, Nero, Feed Me and Disciples. In 2017 it was time for a fresh challenge and Sales went it alone before eventually moving his business into global management firm, TaP, home of Lana Del Ray, Dua Lipa and Ellie Goulding at the start of 2018 with the aim of expanding their electronic division. Phil continues to manage Sasha, Disciples and Feed Me from his new base.
