Pepijn Lanen (NL)
Faberyayo, birth name Pepijn Lanen, quickly rose to fame in the Benelux when the first song he recorded with his group ‘De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig’ charted number 1 as the summer hit of 2015. The group grew artistically and managed to deliver 7 multi gold and platinum awarded records and now is one of the biggest bands in the Benelux, headlining all the major festivals and selling out large arenas. Faberyayo had numorous side projects both solo (4 studio albums) and as ‘Le Le’ (a project together with graphic designer/artist Piet Parra and Rimer London) with whom he had (international) success and released 3 studio albums. Next to music Pepijn also made a career as writer, he wrote three successful Dutch novels, one short stories and a bundle of columns next to writing and directing a fiction podcast. He co-owns and runs an independent label by the name of 'Burning Fik' and has 2 long running podcasts, 1 monthly as 'Yous & Yay' and a seasonal podcast ‘Vad3rs’ in which he explores parenthood.
