Mpho.wav (ZA)
Also known by his stage name Mpho.Wav, emerged from the vibrant township of Orange Farm, Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 28th, 1996. His musical odyssey commenced at the age of 14 within the sacred halls of church, where he unearthed his love for music through the rhythmic beats of drums and enchanting melodies of piano keys. Throughout his formative years, Mpho delved into various musical ensembles, laying the groundwork for his career as a session musician. With each performance, he refined his craft, swiftly becoming a sought- after instrumentalist. Sharing stages with industry greats such as gospel singer Lebo Sekgobela and the late legendary Ray Phiri of Stimela fame, Mpho.Wav's talent garnered well-deserved recognition.
