Michiel Boere (NL)

After completing his economics studies at the University of Amsterdam, Michiel Boere began his career at the Dutch Private & Merchant Bank Van Lanschot Kempen. He worked there for their branches in Amsterdam and Zurich (Switzerland). In 2020, songwriter John Ewbank approached him with a plan to invest in music rights. John Ewbank, Hein van der Ree, and John Brands observed this trend emerging in the US and expected this to spread to Europe. Together, the four of them decided to establish an investment fund. Pythagoras now owns over 36,000 music rights and has ambitions to further expand.
